Agenda for Relief and Development Initiative-South Sudan (ARDI-SS) is a national NGO focused on humanitarian aid and rural community development in South Sudan. Believing in collective participation, ARDI-SS collaborates with government and partners to enhance local capacities and resilience against calamities like conflicts, floods, and droughts. Registered with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission, ARDI-SS operates from its headquarters in Juba and has field offices in six states across South Sudan. Learn More

AWEIL EAST AND WEST COUNTIES
  • Promote nutrition education in schools and communities.
  • Encourage diverse, nutrient-rich crop cultivation.
  • Establish seed banks for local crop preservation.
  • Implement school feeding programs with local produce.
  • Train health workers in nutrition counseling.
  • Develop food preservation methods to reduce waste.
  • Support small-scale food processing enterprises.
  • Monitor nutrition in vulnerable communities.
  • Train Water Management Committees.
  • Drill and repair boreholes in schools and communities.
  • Train hygiene promoters and develop hygiene messages.
  • Build gender-sensitive latrines and handwashing facilities.
  • Provide water purifiers and hygiene materials.
  • Train 60 hygiene promoters over two days.
  • Distribute sanitary pads to 300 households (1,200 beneficiaries).
  • Conduct monthly radio talks for three months.
  • Print 500 hygiene promotion posters.
  • Distribute soaps to 2,000 households (5 bars each).
