ARDI-SS
Agenda for Relief and Development Initiative-South Sudan (ARDI-SS), is a South Sudanese national non-governmental humanitarian organization with its head Office in Juba, the Capital of South Sudan and field Offices in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State-Aweil and Renk County, Upper Nile State—Renk is an area grappling with the twin crises of conflict and climate change. Renk has seen an influx of returnees and internally displaced people, where floodwaters, desertification, and fuel wood scarcity compound displacement and deepen trauma. ARDI’s work is grounded in community dialogue and trauma healing, especially for women and children facing displacement-related gender-based violence and emotional stress.
With CJRF support, ARDI is implementing a one-year project to reduce non-economic loss and damage through a multi-pronged approach. CJRF is supporting ARDI for its grounded, inclusive approach to recovery—one that honours dignity, cultural identity, and emotional healing in the face of immense loss.
